Kalari Vinyasa is a strong and dynamic flow created by Shiva Rea and based on one of the oldest traditions of martial arts, Kalarippayatu, which has it's roots in CVN lineage, Kerala. 


As this practice requires certain level of energy and stamina, it is recommended to have a fueled body through a nutritious breakfast (giving enough time for the food to digest before class) and a restful
night.


Traditionally Kalarippayatu is practiced in a sacred space where the clay is reddish. Honoring this element, a suggestion is, wearing red color.


Also optional is to bring a red flower to create a communion altar.
